FAQ's
How long does an appraisal take?
It depends on the complexity. A standard home appraisal is faster than a commercial farm valuation. Contact us, and we can give you a specific timeline estimate.
How much does an appraisal cost?
Because every property is unique, from a single-family home to a large industrial facility, we provide custom quotes. This ensures you only pay for the scope of work you actually need. Request a quote here.
What information do you need to start a commercial or agricultural appraisal?
We make the process as straightforward as possible. To begin, we just need the property address or the PIN (Property Identification Number), and a description of the existing improvements.
What is the difference between an Appraisal and a Consulting Report?
An Appraisal is “A formal opinion of value expressed either in written or oral form that is prepared as a result of a retainer or an agreement and is intended to be relied upon by identified parties; and for which the Member assumes responsibility” and a Consulting assignment is Acting in an advisory capacity on diverse questions or problems involving Real Estate. The Scope of this type of Professional Service differs from Real Property Appraisal or Review Assignments.
Do lenders accept your appraisals?
Yes. Our AACI-designated appraisals comply with strict CUSPAP standards and are widely accepted by major Canadian banks, credit unions, and private lenders.
